Poole BID
January - May 2020
Project Description:

The means were commissioned in January to conduct a 360 degree mid-term review for Poole BID, focussing on governance and progress with delivery.

There has since been marked changes at the board level, with a new chair, some new members joining and some resignations. Feedback from the business survey undertaken suggests that a period of stability would be welcomed, and the mid-term review has highlighted a number of areas to be discussed with the board.

The BID’s term is due to finish in June 2021, so for the BID to continue a renewal ballot is required for the spring of 2021.

The means worked together with the BID to provide strategic support including an intensive audit period, a board strategy session focussing on the draft improvement plan and the renewal ballot, in addition to advising and supporting the board with recruitment and induction.
