Step Inside Camberwell

step-inside-camberwell-A5 leaflet for shops 28 may 2010 2The Means has recently launched a pilot campaign to boost local commerce in Camberwell at the same time as promoting walking.

Step Inside Camberwell ' has been commissioned by the Camberwell Travel Plan Group which brings together Southwark and Lambeth Councils, the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, Kings College NHS Foundation Trust and local community groups.

The campaign has signed up some 20 participating local businesses, who are offering a 10% discount to those who pick up a branded reward card and walk to their premises.  Card holders are then able to collect up to 10 stamps to be eligible to enter into a prize draw.

The pilot campaign runs from 1 June to 23 July 2010.  loyaltycard FINAL 19may 2010_70px

Commented Sophie Tyler:  "This has been a great example of our collaboration with Means' Associates Mickey Lee and Miranda Newsom.  Together they have produced a really eye-catching design, which highlights Camberwell's assets.  Step Inside Camberwell could easily be replicated in other town centres.  The signs are that this will be the beginning of a longer running initiative."
