Holistic Area Regeneration Plans (HARPS) in Wales
welshharp_250

HARPs in Wales represent another step forward in an increasingly comprehensive approach to tackling some of the most engrained regeneration challenges. They are playing a significant role in the continuation of key regeneration programmes in Heads of the Valleys and Mon a Menai, in conjunction with the Communities First programme.

Holistic plans require input and involvement from the optimum number of stakeholders. Visioning events are one way in which this can be advanced, and awareness raised. We were delighted to be asked to organise and lead a day-long session in Merthyr Tydfil, which included the prioritising of the extensive response received to the call for project proposals.
