21 May - 'Smarter Travel' with ASP |
|
The Means is working with the Association of Sustainability Practitioners (ASP) to deliver a major event on 'Smarter Travel: People & Logistics'. It will take place on 21st May at the Royal Mail's Phoenix Centre, Phoenix Place, London WC1X 0DG, from 1.30pm to 5.30pm.
The event set out to encourage ASP members and guests to identify new initiatives and actions they can take to change their own, and their organisations', travel behaviour.
Means staff Giles Semper and Sophie Tyler are privileged to be speaking alongside some eminent colleagues - Graham Riley of the Highways Agency and Mark Cavill and Martin Blake of Royal Mail itself.
You can read more about the event here, and also register.
Says Giles Semper: 'I have joined the ASP and attended three of its events so far. I much enjoy meeting other people active in promoting sustainability across a range of professions and industries. ASP promotes a highly participative approach, and we will be trying to do justice to this at our Smarter Travel event. We are anxious that we are not complicit in making Smarter Travel another 'bunkered' discipline, but rather promote its connectedness to other aspects of sustainability'
