Assignment:
To prepare a feasibility study on the redevelopment of the site
Timescale:
One year from spring of 2007
Project
Description:
The Bethnal Green Meeting House was built
in 1853 and has been substantially adapted since. It is home to a URC church,
Praxis - an NGO working with refugees & asylum seekers, a Medecins du Monde
project, and the local Bangla School. The Means was employed to write a
feasibility study on the possible redevelopment of the site to provide new

residential element. The Means sourced pro bono assistance from surveyors GL Hearn and
solicitors Allen & Overy, as well as recruiting architects Witherford
Watson Mann to undertake the site capacity study.
